Vodafone guys had come to our office to sell data cards. One person was telling that they are about to launch 4G compatible USB sticks. They say they have agreement with Airtel to share the bandwidth.

Suggestion: phone in mid range segment

I wanted to buy a Dell streak before Samsung Galaxy S. Unfortunately it was priced too high in India. Thank God I did not buy it then...

Anyways are there any new phones from Nokia in sometime?

Omnia seems to be gud but no memory card is a big issue for me. I think I can wait some more time for a better phone...

I also tried recharging my MTNL delhi sim for Rs 20 special data recharge yesterday, but Paytm did normal topup. Tried three times and everytime they did credited my balance by Rs 17. Can someone point to any other website which allows to do special data recharges on MTNL Delhi sim.

Unable to Upgrade Samsung Galaxy Ace to 2.3.6

Maybe the notification ringtone does not go off as it does not get fully charged even though the phone shows fully charged below the clock. Anyway I can calibrate the the battery like in a laptop :)

@amar Do you get a battery sign in the notification bar when the battery is full? It did in my case when it was 2.3.4.

MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team

Testing never gives you a proper prediction, last year Sauber were amazing {but at the end they did it all to gain sponsors} This year its pretty much the point that RB dont have the pace n Mclaren will be the team to beat, Mercedes are good, but dont think they have the capabilities to win the championship!

Boid for Google Android

i still prefer the official twitter app. they have a lot to do to come anywhere near the official twitter app forget other apps.

but then, being an alpha app, i am probably expecting too much from it. i just hope they fix the caching issue so that the app remembers the last read position.

currently it reloads the latest tweets. does not remember anything from the last session. totally makes it useless for most people.

Distance, Utilization and Stability

Hello Everybody

My ADSL instability problem still not resolved yet.
Our area's BSNL JTO claims BSNL exchange is not within 2kms range to our apartment.
So, we won't be able to offer speeds beyond 2MBps.

But, i am using 4MBps connection.

The maximum SNR Margin Downstream i can get at 4MBps is 9+ db.
But the SNR Margin Downstream occasionally hovers around 6+ db for some period of time.
At that time, the connectivity would be terribly unstable.

If my account is reconfigured to lowered speed from BSNL NIB.
The SNR Margin Downstream would be around 15 db.
And i'll get rock stable connectivity at all point of time.

My doubt is, if more people are using BSNL Broadband at any point of time, would my connection's SNR Downstream become low?
Is the SNR Margin Downstream's fluctuates because of distance to our BSNL Exchange or something else?
