Received a phone call from Reliance Customer Care right now. They say they will escalate my request. I have also written to the Nodal Officer of Reliance Communication in Delhi. Let's see if I succeed in getting the connection.

Meanwhile, Tikona Broadband has contacted me for internet connection even though I have not placed any connection request with them!!!
I earlier used Tikona for one month (about one year ago). It is easily the worst ISP in India.

DSL logging into different accounts each time i disconnect/reconnect

As i stated in the title... the modem reset itself and when i checked on the smartbytes page i get the dsl id as being different my own.
Tried resetting many times and it shows various other dsl ids upon each reset of connection...
Is it possible its actually logging in to different dsl accounts? Which would mean my own account's data limit being used by someone else.

Any thoughts?

Varies, some times not more than 50 GB and some time near 150GB(When I used to have a local cable operator,left it because of bad pings and no support for port forwarding and bad customer care)

I thought of buying Huawei E353 21 mbps modem.
But before buying i need to make sure one thing.
This modem will support "2G" networks or not.

Pls help me in this regard.

Tata Photon Plus problem - speed 150 kbs only

I have recently purchased Tata Photon Plus USB data card. It claims to have the speed upto 3.1 mbps but the speed i am getting is only 20kbps. Its just frustrating and nothing else. The technical reason they gave is that my area of living is not covered under HSIA network and i wont be able to get speed more than 150 KBPS. I am paying bill for PHOTON PLUS where as getting speed of PHOTON whiz...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can anybody please let me know where to approach for this problem.

They refuse to solve it!!!
