thats because of the speed upgrade of 1mbps upto 6gb as i recall ... after that they might stick to 55-62 kbps..

You are correct, there is a problem with the Chennai gateway which connects via VSNL, I had 200ms ping to this until it took me 3 hours to get a better one. It should get back to normal at 11:30PM and back to high pings the next morning. It's a routine from the past 3 days. Is there anyway we can get it fixed? I tried BSNL customer service, they have no clue.

Hehe yes they can. Then why doesn't Other ISP's like YOU,Reliance and Airtel doesn't Allow free Intranet Traffic?
