Posted: 09 Jan 2012 03:34 AM PST my experience has been pretty bad. bought an unofficial battery for my old dell inspiron. price of a 9 cell battery was half of what dell was charging for a 6 cell one... it does work. but as soon as start anything processor intensive (video conversion?) the system gives up and shuts down. i guess the battery is not capable of handling the load. i probably got a lemon. |
India Tour of Australia 2011/12 Posted: 09 Jan 2012 03:33 AM PST The australian media are deliberately putting pressure on him. I remember Ravi shastri saying at the start of the test match that the hype sachin got in sydney was huge than he got when he played in mumbai. Seriously, who cares if he had gotten that century at yet we lose the match? A lot of people are guessing that VVS might be the first to retire after this series and an BCCI official says dravid still has 1.5 yrs left! What a joke! Ya'll losing the matches overseas anyway. Why can't they bring in new players and lose? Atleast they will have a chance to shine..?? And no wonder the aussie fans attacked virat. They always attack the one who is too aggressive and last time it was bhajji and this time its virat! Graeme smith and KP summed it up well |
Aakash UbiSlate Tablet PC now on sale for Rs. 2500 Posted: 09 Jan 2012 03:26 AM PST olpc with hand crank and solar charging would work well. hand crank system gives 10 minutes of charging for 1 minute of cranking. solar of course is just going to be used as a backup. the targeted audience are poor children living in smaller cities. the entire concept behind aakash is deeply flawed. OLPC at least has a dedicated group of people working on developing a sustainable model and software solutions. Aakash? no one knows about how long it would be supported. how it would be supported. who would provide the course material. how long would the project be supported by the government and the related bodies. |
