unable to find device {701} on ipod

I am very happy with the use of iPod and continuing to use it but facing some problems recently. I got activation code when gone through the set up process. Actually there are TV shows mobile device waiting and I am able to see the Live Hub on my iPod. Momentus XT SD25 draining Macbook Pro battery very quickly

After installing Momentus XT SD25 on my Macbook Pro i have noticed that there is drastic amount of decrease in Battery Backup. Before this drive the MBP battery was capable to run nearly 6 to 7 hours and i didnt see any kind of performance decrement. However after the installation i can run the laptop nearly 5 to 5.5 hours. It is really a disappointment. What could be the reason? Any solution?

I have installed the GeForce GTX 580 to my system and from then I found that it is making some odd noise from it. There is no problem with the performance of this but this noise is very irritating.
