@coldtime:
You seem quite new to wireless internet.. whenver I buy a 3G connection, I don't expect anything out of it and then buy. I know no one is capable of even 3Mbps consistently.. we just don't have the infra structure for that. I used BSNL 3G first and I got 1-3Mbps. Then they gave unlimited connection which effectively paralysed their network due to the huge influx of customers. Then they not only had to remove the unlimited connection, but also increase the price of the existing plans to keep their network stable.

@offtopic:
Once a tata photon technician who came to check the connectivity of tata photon plus at my home made fun of me when I told him that I got 1Mbps with my existing BSNL 3G connection. He suffered a huge embarassement when he could only demonstrate 300Kbps with his 'lightning fast' 3.1Mbps tata photon plus connection. (and I heard that tata is upgrading their network to 9Mbps; isn't it funny?)

I thought tata are least corrupt and least unethical company in India.

Airtel Broadband Slow Speed Problem

Posted: 25 Dec 2011 03:02 AM PST

Actually I don't face any Speed problem on my connection. Around 18 Months back, I had this issue. When i asked them why is the speed is so slow almost 128kbps on 2mbps connection. They told their Dedicated cable was damaged and they replaced it with low capacity cable. so he asked me to adjust till midnight. next morning it was back to normal.

I assume it should be the same problem or The network switches might have gone bad.

Bad experience with freecharge.in

Posted: 25 Dec 2011 02:53 AM PST

Since ur account has been debited 333, but the recharge done was for 100, tell them that. You should atleast get the difference back

It should also act as a proof that there was a mess up and they should give you the full amount back then

Also, freecharge has been messing up a lot since they started using the SBI gateway. Have stopped using freecharge since then (have had 3-4 failed and 0 successful recharges on the SBI gateway)

They take about 7-10 days to refund, so maybe post on their FB wall again and see the response

Vodafone crediting 0 MB on data pack recharges

Posted: 25 Dec 2011 01:30 AM PST

I tried recharging my no. through online 24 Rs. recharge and got 0 MB and validity till January 1, 1970. Again tried for *444*5#, same thing.
Vodafone CC told me not to expect any credit, thereby waisting my Rs. 28, and that this is a bug in their system.
Anyone else experienced it?
