Star cricket hd become upscale hd on 2nd day 2nd test

Posted: 31 Jul 2011 03:32 AM PDT

Ohh god!!!. Pic quality is horrible. Looks interlaced (lines) Clearly lower resolution stretched. I may do with 1 proper HD sports channel than this fake upscaled HD.

Poor show for Tata Sky.

Different youtube videos are encoded at different bitrates. 1 mbps is generally not suitable for youtube streaming. You need 2 mbps for having a consistent experience.

Do you think she is powerful enough to remove the K-word from the joint statement? Even Zardari won't have that much power.

Because everyone would love to live in peace and anything that allows a little glimpse of it is welcome.

Its called hope.
There is a small line of difference between hope and Delusion. For ex: If I believe I would get a good job in the next year that's hope, but if I think I will get Ratan Tata's Job once he retires that's delusion.

Believing that India's intelligence would be good enough to stop terrorist attacks on Indians is hope, but believing that Pakistan would stop sponsoring these attacks on India is delusion.

I think you misunderstood about Saket. I have a friend who used to live there and with whom I have stayed, so I "got to know" Saket area reasonably well... but I'm not sure we're starting our service there.

As for Janak Puri, I don't even know where that is (checks Google Maps)... uhhh... right... ...is that Janakpuri, west of Ghaziabad or Janak Puri, north of IGI Airport? Those two places could have very different answers.

I *think* for NCR it looks like we may have to attack it from 2 fronts: firstly in areas adjacent to the metro(s), secondly from the outside in - starting in the towns adjacent to Delhi itself and permeating in through the suburbs until we can get central Delhi sorted out.

BEAM please start your operations in NCR

[QUOTE=Zaman2011;525593]Yes BSNL is the only noticeable player. Sify is available in parts but their reliability is even lesser and they provide only 1 Mbps plans at the highest and in most areas only 512 kbps. So, obviously they cannot be a noticeable player.

Guwahati is the business or you can say economic hub of North East India. It is like Mumbai or Delhi is for the rest of India. From all other North Eastern states as well as from other states (such as Marwasris from Rajasthan, Gujratis and other businessmen) people come to Guwahati for business, studies or various things. All trade in North East also goes through Guwahati and it has got the best facilities and economic strength in the whole region. I consider myself half Delhite but if I speak from an Assamese point of view, then North East India as a whole was neglected by rest of India and some sort of step motherly behavior was carrier out though the region gave one of the greatest dividends for India due to natural and mineral resources. That was also the reason for the emergence of terrorism, demand for independence etc. in the past but all those have ended. Indian govt. also reduced the step motherly behavior recently and things are quite good now. Terrorist groups have also surrendered or are in talks with the govt. and everything is peaceful as a whole and development taking place rapidly. I returned back to Guwahati only a couple of years ago after nearly spending a decade in Delhi and things have improved a lot recently. All major international brands have setup their centers here, business is on a rise and everything is moving at a fast pace. It was always the center of North East even during the militancy era (Guwahati was anyways never that much affected even during those days .. a few bomb blasts etc. have been the only exception) and it has only improved and expanded now.

The important thing for us to consider entering an urban area such as this one is population & demographics. For someone from my country a city with a population of >1 million is a large city and as such would likely be well worth servicing - if the demographics support it, that is.

What I mean by that is, if there's only 100 people in a city of this size who can afford the premium services, then it would probably be impractical go around laying cables, however, that doesn't necessarily rule out Hayai Lite. On the other hand, if we can reach at least a full 1% of 1 million people (if we estimated 2.5 lakh households) then things can begin to even out nicely.

If we're to believe sites like consumercomplaints.in, it's not just limited to people in the northeast!

I'm not sure about that. Even some of the people who have a choice of providers are "happy enough" with BSNL's services. And good for them!

Every internet user here would not shell out 2K for internet unless they use the internet a lot like students etc.

The majority of users don't need flat-rate plans, which, apart from my fanaticism about quality, is part of the reason we don't have any "cheap" ones.

Some some economic bigwigs within Assam which you can expand later are Dibrugarh, Tinsukia (tea estate giants of India are there), Digboi (Asia's oldest oil refinery and other industries), Jorhat, Sibsagar and so on. You also have Marwari and other North Indian businessman who have been ruling Assam's industries in most of Assam's cities and towns for long and they also do not care about money).

There is everything that is possible and also money but development never happened compared to the rest of India due to neglect. Not to mention that Assamese people are one of the most cordial and friendly people who believes in universal fraternity even by Indian standards and all Indians are very friendly and admired by the whole world. In fact, Assam is also an alter ego of India and is nearly as diverse if not more yet with massive "unity amongst diversity". There are two geographical parts in Assam which are Brahmaputra valley an Barak valley and both are culturally and linguistically quite different like is the case with North and South India. Loads of thing to tell.

Sorry for the long blabbering but to be frank though I am a hardcore patriotic and consider myself half Delhite but I am also an Assamese and so feel for the native region too. However, coming to point the best point to start in North East is obviously Guwahati which is very big in terms of both economy as well as potential. Then you can target the high end and progressive cities especially of upper Assam like Jorhat, Sibsagar, Dibrugarh and Tinsukia. All these four districts/cities are side by side and are amongst the most economically strong cities of Assam after Guwahati and so infrastructure would also easier as they are side by side.

...All in all I think if we can get in to those north-eastern states there could be some otherwise untapped potential there and in such case it's a good opportunity for us to deliver a good quality service to the region. I look forward to visiting Assam and the surrounding states in the near future.
