Idea 3G signal spotted in Pune, Maharashtra Posted: 30 Jul 2011 03:25 AM PDT technically its correct that no new sim card is required for 3G handsets because 3G handsets have inbuilt USIM (Universal Subscriber Identity Module) which has a a logical entity on the physical card called as UICC. These smartcard and entries make the handset and simcard compatible for 3G , but in rare cases e.g Hutch was having Segan handset and they run on different Sim Card. In that kind of cases Sim Change would be required compulsarily . |
Applying for Reliance Broadband connection in Gurgaon! Posted: 30 Jul 2011 03:22 AM PDT In for a penny, in for a pound; you are stuck with Reliance my friend, they have already thanked you for being a valuable Reliance customer. Now you will have to apply for termination of services and pay their 'early termination charges' or keep shelling out the monthly charges month after month..about the salesman, you are never going to lay eyes on him again, another thing, canceling the cheque could turn out to be a big mistake, you did sign on the forms and provide your photograph and other details willingly, didn't you? Issuing a cheque which is not honored is considered a serious offence, what were you thinking? On the other hand maybe i am just paranoid, anyways, good luck with all that. |

I am living within a 5minute walking distance of the MTNL server and office building. So, can i expect a better network? Whats Better Branded or Assembled Desktop ? Posted: 30 Jul 2011 02:45 AM PDT Well let me chime my two cents.......... being using PC now for around 15 years always went the assembled model except for the iMac and the laptop computers I buy. If you know what you are doing assembled is the way to go.... otherwise branded, do note that I buy assembled computers not coz of the cost but I am very particular with the parts I would like in my system and generally my assembled systems I make cost me much more than branded computers so the logic of assembled is cheap is not true.... but again due to the high end parts I choose none of my assembled systems give me problems and the performance is generally great. Yeah you can get aways with very cheap parts while making assembled computers but...... by skimping with cheap SMPS / cabinets etc you are inviting trouble at at later stage, if you want to build a very high end system and know what you are doing then assembled is the way to go also if you plan to go assembled you should be a bit tech savvy so that the local system builder does not take you for a ride. |
