Fuzzy membership function with Matlab

Posted: 28 Jul 2011 10:18 AM PDT

Hi
My search is used 2 groups of rations,For the first
group of rations, the so-called profit type local criteria
were built in the form of membership functions,
(in terms of Fuzzy Sets Theory) rising from 0 to 1, then maybe Matlab is
best software to do it. I have so many data, how could I allocate any rations
with Matlab to number between 0 to 1. Below links of picture maybe would
better explain my question

Google Email Intervention - Are You Suggesting Gmail To Friends?

Posted: 28 Jul 2011 08:57 AM PDT

I woke up today morning and typed gmail.com & I saw a video beside the login window.
It takes you to 'Google Email Intervention' Page.

Here's what Google says:

Quote:

You've probably already improved the lives of your friends and family members by helping them switch to Gmail, but what about that one friend who still hasn't made the switch? It's time to take a stand and stage an intervention.
Saw this funny video from Google too:

I am wondering why will Google do that? I guess they were feeling lucky today. :D

Posted: 28 Jul 2011 05:28 AM PDT

Finally, a wireless, audiophile-grade home theater system that doesn't need a receiver!

Up until now, wireless home theater speaker systems have been difficult to set up, or haven't had the quality of sound that we crave. It comes with audiophile-friendly uncompressed streaming and ingenious sweet-spot technology.

Aperion uses the same high-speed frequencies as radar systems to stream audio. Each individually powered speaker houses multiple amps and crossovers. Place the speakers wherever you want and a hub unit (not shown) auto-calibrates it all. Then hit the MyZone button on the remote and the sweet spot shifts to wherever you're sitting.

It costs - $2,499.00

Engineering Concepts Discussions

Posted: 28 Jul 2011 05:00 AM PDT

CEans,

We've discussed this topic many times in the past but never had a proper action plan. Why don't we form groups and distribute the topics related to our domains and start related discussions? For example, 4-6 CEans from Computer Science engineering can team up and distribute topics related to CS Engineering among themselves. Then, these team members can start concept related discussions (you need NOT explain the topic; just initiate the topic by writing 2-3 lines about the topic).

How will this help?

1. It will help us start more technical discussions on CE.
2. It will help thousands of students who are preparing for exams.
3. It will help students know that we can start such topics on CE Forums! (Lot of people get scared to see CE!)
4. It will also help thread creators understand the topic better and we can expect to build interesting discussions on every topic being discussed.

What's your take on this? If you are ready, start grouping in this thread and feel free to connect with each other via PM, Visitor messages.
