MP4 is short for Moving Picture Expert Group-4. A MPEG-4 file may contain any number of audio, video, and even subtitle streams, making it impossible to determine the type of streams in an MPEG-4 file based on its filename extension alone.
A lot of portable players support MP4 files, such as iPod, iPhone, PSP, Creative Zen, iRiver PMP, Archos, PS3, Xbox…
When we have a mp4 file, we can put it on our player directly. However, we can’t always come across the suitable video format. Some video fans know that they need a converter. When we have a mp4 file, we can put it on our player directly. However, we can’t always come across the suitable video format. Some video fans know that they need a converter. What converter should we choose? According to my experiences, I recommend people to try general video converter which is suitable for all kinds of players. Now I share a MP4 Converter which can convert all the mainstream video and audio formats MPG, MPEG, MPEG2, VOB, RM, RMVB, WMV, MOD, TOD, MP2, AAC, AC3, WAV to MP4, AVI, MP3, which is playable on all the MP4 MP3 players.
In the following text, I will show how to convert videos to mp4 format with MP4 Video Converter.

Step 0: Download and install 4Videosoft MP4 Video Converter
After the download is finished, run the .exe file and follow the installation wizard instructions.

Step 1: Run and select your input video file
Click the “Add File” button and select the appropriate source from the list:

Step 2: Edit your output video
1. Remove unwanted parts or get any segment
Click “Trim” option, a window will be pop up: you can trim any segment of the movie by dragging the slider bar or clicking "Start Time" and "End Time" button when you preview or inputting certain time number in “Start time” and “End time” fields manually.

2. Cut off the black edges or get any play region
Click “Crop” option, a window will be pop up: you can crop by selecting a crop mode or adjusting the crop frame or setting the crop values. You can also set the output aspect ratio from the Zoom Mode according to your need.

Step3: Select the portable device and output file parameters
At the next step you will only need to point out which device you are going to use to watch the movie after you converted it. The other video settings (Encoder, Resolution, Frame Rate, Bit rate, audio Channels and Sample Rate) will be adjusted automatically according to the chosen device preset. You can also set your own parameters by clicking “Settings” button.

Hello, I have a few accutron 214 coils that are open and I want to know if is possible using new wire to recoil the broken ones? What I think is that using some type of new wire may be possible to obtain the original function with less wire The original coil have about 8.000 turns and the wire is thinner than the human hair and was design at the end of 1950. There are a lot of business in find a way to recoil the original ones because they are difficult to find and they cost about $100.00 ore more for the two coils in each watch. Please let me know any additional information you need.

Bluetooth Data Acquisition Project HELP!

Posted: 26 Jun 2011 01:40 AM PDT

Hi, I have this situation. I have to design a hardware that senses other bluetooth devices and stores the MAC ID's of the detected devices along with the time of detection. This device eventually will be installed on roads to acquire data about the number vehicles travelling. Now from where should i start this project?

A Bluetooth dongle will be used to sense the devices and from there on please tell me how to move about in this project. Just the idea will be enough for me to take over.

Thanks in advance. Cheers.
