As they have bought the rights, they will get adfree telecast provided. It will be upto Vodafone to add ads accordingly!

maybe they would launch pan-india with collaboration with other players :D very unlikely at launch time though.

It first shows u a primary DNS and secondary DNS .... so go into Mobile partner>Edit bsnl 3g profile>click Advance and write that primary and secondary ip address which is mentioned in the namebench results :)

Please avoid airtel iptv. Twice it stopped working in just a month... First time when it didn't work airtel took 12 days to rectify the problem. Now its been more than 2 days IPTV is not working...

I ACTUALLY GOT A BETTER IDEA TO SCREW AIRTEL.
1. EVERYONE WHO HATES AIRTEL, CLICK ON ALL ADS EITHER GOOGLE ADS, MAIL, SEARCH ENGINE RESULT. SPARE 10 MIN.
2., CREATE A POST TO COLLECT ALL EMAIL ,FACEBOOK, TWITTER ,ETC IDS RELATED OR OF AIRTEL TEAM, MANAGEMENT , MARKETING , CUSTOMER CARE. CREATE A STANDARD OR TEMPLATE LETTER,COMPLIANTS, HATE MESSAGES . FIX A DAY SOMETHING LIKE 13/02/2010.FLOOD THOSE IDS WITH MAILS. CALL IT

Airtel IPTV not working in Bangalore after software update

2 Days back there was some software update on airtel iptv set top box. Update got stuck at 95% for more than an hour. When I called the customer care, I got the information that more than 50 people are facing this problem after the software update.
Its been 2 days it is not fixed. After calling airtel customer care many times and after the issue escalation I was told that they have to replace the set top box and they don't have a stock right now!

It shows how bad and pathetic airtel service is... If you are planning to buy airtel IPTV then please avoid it.

Last time when my iptv stopped working they took 12 days to fix it.

I would suggest cable tv with digital set top is the best thing rather than going to IPTV.

I also ordered one more HD box for my cousin. He lives in Gujarat. The box looks the same and IS the same. The new HD Plus boxes are still not out and I think we should wait for about a month atleast.
