Unfortunately I've never had to deal with the broadband support... Airtel won't step their holy feet in my locality... have to make do with BSNL for now :'( but that's another tear filled story for another day lol

yes. google has made an official statement that they do not condemn rooting like apple does with jailbreaking. no surprises there.

yeap. it would be nice to have something like the prepaid mobile system.

pay a minimum account per month to keep your account valid. and buy bandwidth over it :P

let the amount be high enough to maintain a profitability and include some free bandwidth in it as bonus :|

They arent launching here in the near future because of some license/ equipment import objections.

Well I too used this plan for about 7 months form Oct 09 to Apr 10. Then shifted to 1 Mbps UL. As of UL plans make more sense. I download about 12 to 24 GB a month. And surf a lot. UL plan suits me.
But before UL plans became affordable 849NU plan was the best, no doubt.:bowtoyou:
