argh. just had some more communication with airtel guys. things are not looking good. people who are seeking such plans are in very small minority and that is unlikely to force them to release something like this.

definitely very disappointed.

Fuked up Ping Result on Airtel back again

Did a ping test after long time getting pretty bad results..






Couln't test on Mumbai servers its nt there anymore...nd btw online apps do suk on the connection.....youtube....online play...

plz post your ping test results below...lets see ....ppl on other BB like Relaince/MTNL/BSNL also plz post your results :)

BSNL 3G sim bought in Bangalore does not work in Gujarat

Just came back from BSNL office after meeting the person from the network operations center.

I explained him the problem..he took my cellphone inside..was back in 10 minutes..and boom....data access started working :)

He mentioned that the parameters on the SIM card had to be changed in their system. He said this should not have been needed and they would fix in next 10-15 days and it has appeared due to the MNP changes in the system. He had to sync up with someone in Bangalore for this. This can happen on any sim card from BSNL south zone to be used in BSNL west zone.

So if anyone else is facing similar problem.. PM me and I can give more details.

was very satisfied with the kind of service I got ...not at all expected from BSNL. I went to BSNL office, Vastrapur branch, Ahmedabad.

Anyone had success in using BSNL 3G SIM from South Zone in West Zone ?

But you need to clear all doubts before placing an order. You cannot cancel order once placed.

I understand you are talking about websites which offer lowest price on a product for a specific time (may be a day or week).
But you cannot be sure about the quality and service of such guys. Once you deal then only you come to know. But sites which i have mentioned offer competitive prices + established players + sell genuine products (exceptions on ebay) + provide VAT bill so that you can claim warranty.

@Madhu, after how many days of purchase did you raise a claim? As you said any one can cheat specially with mobiles.
Some amateurs wont even know if mobile is used or new and become bakra.
I finally went ahead and bought a 1TB seagate hard drive from fishthedeal and it got delivered in 3 days flat. Quite impressive. and yes they do provided invoice with VAT and guarantted 5 years warranty. I guess these guys are genuine.

Thanks, the other linked work. Also an update instead of using the unlock code, you need to use the flash code to unlock the modem.Need to check this out and see how this firmware works.

Nokia 2730 is the cheapest 3g enabled phone and it has EDGE with class 10.

Try nokia 5230 it is 3g enabled wih touchscreen and it has good GPRS connectivity. I am suggesting you 3G phones for future use.

Hi all...
I am new to this forum... I hav been calling tatasky CC for the last 3 days with no one responding well on when exactly they will re-launch HD stb. But today when i called they told me, the HD stb will again be available from January 3rd, 2011. He said it will come with the same features and be available with all retailers...
He said bcos of high demand, they stopped marketing it for some time... Going by this, they will launch on Jan 3rd with revised prices (more competitive) and extra perks for existing customers... I repeatedly asked him abt this new date.. he said he is very very sure that from Jan 3rd, it will be available...

Lets hope this becomes true... :)

help to increase airtel mobile office speed

I am getting only upto 2kbps speed with airtel mobile office when i use internet on my PC with my mobile Nokia 2700 classic as modem. Help me to increase speed.
