I am getting a score of ~980 in Quadrant. Can you install "Quandrant Standard" from Market and run full benchmark?

A smartphone can be considered as a Personal Pocket Computer (PPC) with mobile phone functions, because these devices are mainly computers,

Sony Camera Battery model np-fm50

Posted: 27 Dec 2010 02:38 AM PST

this is what my camera looks like.

this is not a disposable piece of equipment. unless of course it goes bad.

when i purchased it, it cost me close to around 1300 dollars. of course, i can buy something much better in a lower price today.

but if only the battery has gone bad, i had prefer to try out with a new battery first! :)

---------- Post added at 04:08 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:48 PM ----------

the ebay guy says that the shipment can take up to 20 days. not sure if i should go through him.

his price is much higher than the prices i am seeing on american sites. of course shipping from usa would add to the cost and it is likely to end up costing the same.

i guess i would pay for the battery from the ebay link mentioned in the first post if no one has an alternative for me!

Airtel issues a PR. 3G launch before year end.

Posted: 27 Dec 2010 02:22 AM PST

the word i got from the airtel team was that they do not want the service launch to be a disappointment for their customers.

tata docomo 3g users are reportedly finding too many issues regarding the quality of calls and so on.

of course, the government's regulations are not helping.

from what i heard... they are doing extensive tests in areas where they are going to launch it. and they want to ensure that the launch is successful and the customers opting for their 3G services are satisfied from the day 1.

they have a reputation to manage and they do not want to risk it like docomo did by launching it so early.

vodafone mobile connect and vodafone live unified into one ???

Posted: 27 Dec 2010 02:20 AM PST

no i cant see any other details of the access point on the phone, you dont need to configure anything, just selecting mobile connect under access point does the job, and i have no settings configured on the pc.

i've just added my phone through nokia pc suite, when the phone comes within range of the comp, it appears in the network and sharing centre on windows 7, click change adapter settings, inside bluetooth network connection. right click the phone, select "connect using-->access point" and thats it.

it seems they are doing away with the proxy based service...would've been nice to have some no rental plans as well.

Nokia 5030: Worst keypad EVER!

Posted: 27 Dec 2010 02:12 AM PST

righto. even the keypad on the much expensive nokia 6275 is very annoying to use.

samsung cheap mobile phones have so much better keys. but the battery life sucks very bad.
