Yup I am facing slow DL & pathetic speeds some sites I have to refresh at least 3 times esp this site :( I use opendns !!!!!

I agree with all but I think MTNL dont have nay right to punish anybody if they found anyone sharing their BB connection.Reason: as rules which prohibit BB sharing is yet not made by MTNL..We cant say anything is crime or not if we dont have rules against that...You cant prosecute a person if you dont have any law which say that that action is crime...no wonder cyber crime was highly active in india some time back when there was no law against that..

Yeah you are right but we own our connection and we have every right to do anything with it..unless specially stated by them that we cant do so and as I see there is no rule which say that you cant use ur friend account by using his username and password...

I think the whole point is that It is still not clear by mtnl in this regard..because they dont need that as they already prohibites that with PORT binding...

Did I make a mistake by choosing Tata DOCOMO 3G?

Hi,

I have been using Tata docomo 3G for almost a month now. Believe me its crap !!. I got a 3.5 MB dongle. They promised me i will get atleast 1.3 mb but most of the time it does not even connect to the internet. Even if it does then it gives only around 10kbps speed (which is also not constant!!). There is frequent disconnection. Cant even open a simple webpage with this!
When I went to the 3G outlet they said that speed depends on how many users are using at a given time but does that mean I wont even be able to connect to the internet when i need it the most ???!!!?? Also just to prove my point I tried using the net at different hours, even at 3AM still I get crap speed only around 10kbp to 50kbps!!

Made a real mistake buying Tata Docomo 3g. Waste of money! This is worst than Tata Photon also :ishock:

naveen_75us is asking for 7.2Mbps compatible ( enabled ) towers.


ckr97 in Bangalore is getting 4 - 5Mbps speed. That is more than 3.6Mbps. Hence his nearby tower is 7.2Mbps enabled.

This can be confirmed in MDMA.

My first PC (or rather my bro's) was in 1990 completely on DOS. With no Hard Disk!!!!!!. Only 5 1/4"Floppy Drive & RAM.
