Be Careful: Reliance wireless broadband connection Posted: 24 Dec 2010 02:55 AM PST |
Airtel home delivered a prepaid sim card to my place! Posted: 24 Dec 2010 02:48 AM PST mine is lifetime one well it wasn't before but later on got it converted to lifetime as then I did nt need to worry abt validity much...but then I shifted to vodafone becz of their online service for recharge.....nd BOOM realized how cracky and full of disturbance Vodafone network is nt to mention very inexperienced call center staff..with airtel there was a dedicated call center just for GPRS related issues and all..and I never had any network problem here in Delhi with my airtel 6yrs with them..gonna shift back as soon as MNP arrives... :) |
Posted: 24 Dec 2010 02:44 AM PST Wait for a few days and Docomo will become full fledged. Even I am facing the same problem here in Gujarat, but its speed is still better than Vodafone and AirTel. I preserved my AirTel Mobile office connection for years, but now I am getting better speeds on Docomo, although not 3 MBPS. Voice clarity is better too. I have got 85 kbps download speed on Ucweb mobile browser on Htc HD2. Sadly the network fluctuates. |

Posted: 24 Dec 2010 02:30 AM PST I hav C2Duo E7400 processor + 2 Gb DDR2 ram. Yes there is quite good improvements in opera 11 stable which is out, with extensions/add-ons. The biggest reasons in any browser for crashes & freezes are the ads in any webpage. In opera though, Ad-block extensions are available but they cause some trouble with some websites. In opera there is a very cool way to block all unwanted ads. There is a file named Url_filter.ini at the address C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Opera\Opera\. The Appdata is hiddden folder as default which is not known to normal users. This file contains the list for blocking ads & can be edited manually. The ad block list is available here - Adblock-List. Just click on the url_filter.ini & copy the complete page(quite large) by Ctrl+A & just paste in the already existing file deleting whatever was earlier and save. And now try to visit those sites which throws too many pop-ups & ads. Most of them are now blocked. This way the browsing becomes more faster. |

Must have extensions for Google Chrome Posted: 24 Dec 2010 01:00 AM PST Here's another nifty extension......it is Panic Button https://chrome.google.com/extensions...bhmokfmnglamcm While in the office, u must be social networking & many sites open. And suddenly when the boss comes, u have to close the browser. Now that is not needed - just hit the button, and all the tabs are "Temporarily" closed. And also, when u hit the button, u can have some "Work-related" sites that can automatically crop up!! So, ur boss will feel that u r working. But when he leaves, u again hit the Panic button, and all the sites get restored"WHERE U HAD LEFT THEM"......Cool na?? |
Movies Now HD Channel Launched Posted: 24 Dec 2010 12:50 AM PST :)....That was a joke....please have some sense of humour.....But if you don't have an stb then you definitely will need the HDMI port to be connected to something....I guess that will be an HDMI line right through...:) Though even the HDMI signal degrades after a certain distance...I think that is 20m or less...just as the Cat5e or cat6 cables. |
Mukesh Ambani Broadband Co 4G Test Posted: 24 Dec 2010 12:44 AM PST No but i think, whatever it is, if they are testing, they must be giving some devices to use at the spot right?? They cant ignore Testers from the General public!! After all, once its launched, its the public response that will matter....... ---------- Post added at 02:14 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:13 PM ---------- @ Saurabh PS: Hey btw, i had asked u about ur ISP.....ur speed is superb!! |
