i have talked about this problem previously on the forum. my dad likes to call toll taxes a government sponsored extortion. delhi gurgaon expressway is a good example.

as for the government... well. the fact remains. they are part of all these scams. the parking mafia included. senior officers are usually involved in all illegal parking scams where they get a cut from the profits.

oh well. you lose some. you gain some.

on paper this is a much better phone than the galaxy s. same pricing. 8mp camera. much bigger display. and so on. :P

i was sort of pumped up about this phone when it was launched in september in usa i think. but 4.3 is just too big for a smartphone for me (i am not sure how i would feel about the 4 inch display on GNS which lands this weekend at my place). but then. the luxury of having 4.3 while browsing is going to be pretty cool experience.

also... display is S-LCD which i think is a cheaper variant of super amoled.

how to configure beetel 450 bx1 adsl2+ modem wireless router with mtnl

Hello friends, hope you could help with this. I have a Beetel 450 TC1 router from Airtel (my earlier connection). I configured it with my MTNL connection with the username and password also.

The internet seems to work with Ethernet RJ45 cable but not with wifi. I also followed with the screenshots from other posts for settings. The problem i face is with the Interface setup-->Wireless page. My page settings do not match with the normal standard settings. The authentication Type Dropbox is grey and I cannot edit it? By default i also see a MGMNT network SSID with the router to which also I'm not able to connect.

I also did reset my router and keyed in the settings. I want to use the wifi with my laptop and my mobile device with a security key.

There would not be any difference even if govt had generated 1.76L crore (am i right) from auction.
I am happy at atleast this scam led to removal of A Raja :@and news of Niira Radia broke out. Only to save bu*t of some dirty politicians and corporates, Niira will be proved as culprit. I would not be surprised to see Niira to be behind bars and Raja roaming free. She will be made a scape goat aka bakra :happy:

Airtel DTH service is good and picture quality is good too. I am using it from 1 and half years. Only disappointment is speed of UI. It takes more time than a tata sky when i change a channel or click on right arrow to view next channel program name.

You will find some fantastic deals on EBay.in but you need to check seller reputation as suggested by nsm1234. Check their selling score and feedback percentage along with users feedback. I am an old ebayer from over 5 years. Never had a single issue. Made over 30 purchases on ebay.in
Now you can also buy goods from USA via EBay Global Buy website.

Flipkart.com - Genuine sellers with manufacturer warranty. Have heard good reviews about them. They ship from Bangalore. Their pricing on electronic items is very reasonable.

Letsbuy.com - Genuine sellers with manufacturer warranty. They typically ship between 2 to 4 days. They stock lot of items.

Futurebazaar.com - Run by Bigbazaar group. Genuine sellers. But items are costly compared to Flipkart and Letsbuy.

Airtel has parked a Bus in front of Forum mall, Koramangala, Bangalore. They have kept Nokia N8 and Samsung Galaxy S and some laptops for demo. I check speedtest.net and i got 2Mbps. We need to see what would be speed when 3G user base grows up.

Suggest Me... Huawei K4505 (or) Huawei UMG1831?

It works for me too in ubuntu. but i do not get speed. in win7 i get up to 3.4mbps in ubuntu just 20kbps.
i could not find any option to select the network mode so as i can select the 3g(wcdma mode only) to register into a 3g network. unless it uses edge only.

Indian Government to tap all phones in real time

I understand that some of the government officials want to implement this for better security and to try hold of culprits. Can this lead to some more corruption?
I heard real time 3G video tapping is not available in USA. Why indian government officials are cribbing about bringing it here? They should rather get some more guns and distribute among police constables. This is basic necessity right? I saw a constable was beaten up by a group of people (gunda's). He just had a lathi with him. Imagine what all can he do with a lathi? At most he can put it in a** of one of the gunda.
