I really don't know what's happening with BSNL. While in Vodafone and AirTel a single setting works for Internet and Stream. Here these guys are providing lots of settings and all are useless:readtherules:.

If you have a clue about it or correct settings please write here. Thanks.

in some mobile you have to select default apn for application also.so pls check that your default apn for application is bsnlnet. just make your apn profile default for all

Think 10 times before getting Tata Docomo

I totally agree with you guys. I've faced a similar situation and have to submit all the proofs again.

In last month, I was having some issues in accessing internet on my PC through DOCOMO. At that time I realised how in-efficient these DOCOMO customer care executives are... Shame on them. They are de-faming the name of NTT which provides world class service.

And this TATADOCOMO user on this forum is of no use. You can read my story in another thread on this forum. Once the number portability is started then DOCOMO would realise the truth...

Nitin

How to Switch to Open DNS?

So I want to fix this- I want to switch to Open DNS. Just changing the IPv4 properties by entering the open DNS servers address in "Use the following DNS servers" is enough???

Open DNS servers addresses:208.67.222.222 208.67.220.220

But when I open the modem by 192.168.1.1 there it is still the default DNS servers:
DNS Primary 218.248.255.147
DNS Secondary 218.248.255.146

Note: I use Wireless (WiFi).

Please tell me actual procedure.

Thanks!!!

Since you are using more than one system, you can either add Open DNS in both machines or simply in your modem. If you add in modem, all systems connected to wifi too will have Open DNS. I manually entered in both machines in my case and it works fine.

is it better than wimax in thrissur,
kerala

hi rag86,

the speed is less for u only because of old n70 3G mobile. N70 mobile only has the option for connecting 3G and it will not connect to 3.5G. 3.5G speed starts from 3.6 mbps to 14.1mbps.. what u will have to do is purchase modems from huawei or zte inorder to get good speed. see specification before purchasing modems .. now adays modems are available in 21.1MBPS speed . if u wants to have 7.2 mbps . then go for it. the modem price of 21.1 mbps is 3400 in ebay.. and u can also search for it in market..

recharging for 4200 for 6 months is a great idea friend...

i downloaded 20GB in :wewin:2 days.... then u will understand how fast:O the bsnl 3G is...

i m damn sure that private operators will not give 3G for low price.. :)

so aware of it ... so finally i suggest you to upgrade your device first then recharge for 4200 friend. this nokia able to give only 60kbps.:icry:

feel free to ask questions.. i m here to help

Do not follow

Imposing sanctions is blocking oil supply, its stating that the world may not buy oil from this country.
They now have iraq under control. so all those sanctions withdrawn. now if they go on war with some other country, they can block oil supply to that country.. this is what i meant.

But if they want to leave Iraq then how will they maintain this control ?
If they want to have it under control , why leave Iraq. Why not turn it into a colony ?

Why will US pay more than market price ?
Why will free Iraq accept less than market price ?

But reducing supply of oil in the market by sanctions results in increase of price for everyone including US. more supply less price, less supply more price :)
they will make the rules and decide pricing. its simple.

nuclear threat is real, Iran signed NPT treaty so does not have right to make weapons.
how do u know nuclear threat is real?? iran is claiming its just creating nuclear reactor. noone knows the truth... but what if iran is right just like iraq never had WMD. who is going to undo what USA did in iraq... if it does same for iran by saying its making weapons and declares war..but later on nothing comes out.. will anyone point fingers at USA?

Grace period is 15 days. But your number will remain active for another 165 days when grace period expires. So, your number will remain active for 180 days after your validity expires. Ofcourse, incoming/outgoing will be barred during these 180 days.

Yes. 15 days - that's it. You lose all your balance on the 16th day.
