Tried both options but only says "scratch code is not valid' ,i guess these codes vary for each telecom circle.In some circles still *123# is working else they are sending a message after disconnection. But neither works in Maharashtra circle. :(

I need little clarification about validity of Rs.4200 recharge ...All I know is there is a festive offer for unlimited data usage from BSNL w.e.f nov 01 2010 to jan 31 2011.I wanted to know if I recharge my 3G sime with Rs.4200 on jan 29/30 2011 then how long will be mu unlimited data usage validity?

Anyone plz let me know....

To Admin:

You seemed to have merged all "MNP topics" into a single thread .
I feel few forum members have the time to sift through all the pages to get their answers pertaining to MNP.

You should have left the topics/threads as it is.

You can conduct a poll to know how many forum members are happy with the merger.If majority agree then it is OK.

its airtel they want to make money....mtnl here offers same speeds at half rates but airtel did not reduce their speed tariff....

if u take any kind of retention plan from airtel ur pretty screwed lol....
ok there are 2 plans in retention for 1MBps one is 1699 where u get constant 1 MBps speeds and other one is 1299 where before 10 or 11 PM you will get 512 Kbps and after that 1 MBps till 6am in the morning and after that back to 512 KBps....

the 1299 plan is very common they offer in retention....no idea about the FUP.
FUP should be around 100 GB in the 1699 plan if you are getting that.....

btw these plans are unlimited ones and you should take those only if you use net quite regularly and download stuff.....if you are being offered limited plan (were u need to pay for data once u cross free limit) I am not aware of them...

na they did not change the billing cycle but they tried to put me on a plan 1399 one which had a very bad FUP some time back telling me it did not have any FUP and it is for special customers who have stayed with airtel for long time :rofl:..I am guessing they wanted me to leave my old plan which has higher FUP and are no longer avil by airtel.....

Airtel landline... 500 rupees per month for unlimited calls!

Im from Kolkata i recently bought ZTE MF190 3G Device branded by Beetel and im using BSNL 3G with it and im getting so bad speed with that...around 30-40kbps...
Now i was wondering if this my device problem or not. cause i look around the internet forums and see everyone posting so high speed reports around 1-2Mbps wheras im getting 300-400Kbps now thats absurd...
Any one using this device any one else encountered this please reply...
