D975XBX - can i put 4GB on a single slot memory ?

I recently buy a 4 GB memory, which is 4GB 2Rx4 PC2-5300P at 667 MHz, it i got in less price so i buy it. So i have to use it for upgrade my Intel® Desktop Board D975XBX. But i have one problem that is there is any problem to use 4 GB memory in Intel® Desktop Board D975XBX ? It will work or not ? Can i put 2 4 GB memories in my Intel® Desktop Board D975XBX ?

I have found one website which does not gets opened on my pc. Actually it opens but the same thing is bit different on my blackberry browser. After few information feeding on that website, it return a PDF with standings on the league. But following the same steps, I am getting a screen which says that "Method ID is missing".
