Posted: 30 Oct 2010 02:41 AM PDT Hi Yogesh , Guess what if you pay 6 months advance - 4200. It works out to 700 PM for 7.2 MBPS unlimited. Check Calutta BSNL - launching Nov 5 , under Specail Festival tariff for 3G. Also can you advise how the deduction and tariff work for prepaid. Is the balance deducted monthly , is it possible for me to use for a few months , pause and use again. Like a mobile plan maybe , but how do we change tariff plans and verify our connection. Can I buy a 3G USB modem outside and without hassles (not technical , but administrative - operator irritation) use for BSNL now and lets say Tata tomorrow. Please suggest a good modem for 7.2 MBPS , BSNL is giving one at 2500. The only use is internet connectivity , no point spending much more for brand etc. Thanks |
Zero Signal in my Home on Tata Docomo in Chandigarh Posted: 30 Oct 2010 02:26 AM PDT Hi Guys, I had taken a docomo connection in anticipation of trying out the 3G services been launched shortly, but 3G looks like a distant dream because as of today I am not getting any signal (I get all 4 bars on Airtel) inside my phone and this connection is totally useless. I am ready for 3G Life but looks like it wil have to be on some other operator |
List of channels NOT available on TataSky. Posted: 30 Oct 2010 02:02 AM PDT Ya, I have taken many of them from Dish TV which you have listed. Same in Dish TV, which I have taken from Tatasky which you have listed. As your are more updated in that. But you did not create this missing channels list. Partially updated as per your indications. |

To all fellow Sun Direct Customers..U need to be street smart.. Posted: 30 Oct 2010 01:28 AM PDT It may sound harsh to some, but the truth is that many services including sun direct are not for the non-technical common man who doesnt know about things like transponders/alignment, longitude, elevation, etc.. So lets all spread the info abt how to align the dish urself and how to change the STB settings..The worst is probably over for sun direct, though we may see a lot more changes in the packages in the future. The bosses will realize their mistake once their ARPUs and revenues drop drastically..anyway thats not in our hands..What we can do is help each other and make a network so that we dont have to depend on the customer service for any technical adjustment.. The dish is the most important one and needs to be turned just a little[2-3 degrees either way, depending on which side is it aligned right now and a little elevation(turn it up a little)], so it should not be a problem. Even a slight movement can show you the signal[60-70 or even more]. But before that, the STB settings needs to be changed as follows: Just repeating the realignment details for the STB here: Sun Direct Realignment Process Please put Home TP: 12316 H 30000 COSHIP (5202 & 5203): 1.Step 1: Go to Installation menu and select "Advanced Installation" option. 2.Step 2: Select "Insat 4B/SAT "and press OK on the remote & press Yellow color key to "TP Edit". Wasted 351rs by rechargin online Posted: 30 Oct 2010 12:31 AM PDT may be you were informed wrongly by customer care guys, they are well known for giving confusing answers. but if i remember correctly bsnl system cannot recharge twice so if there system is still having this facility, one of your payment should get refunded. check with the shop if he got failed notification or wait for 2-3 days for your online payment to get reversed. |
