@ganeshran - Its ADSL, they will Install this Wired Telephone line and an ADSL modem to connect to the Internet.
You will have to visit Reliance Login Site first (i.e. browsing internet) and have to Login using ID and password ./

Tata photon are exploiting and playing with emotional sentiment of people.

my acc no with tata photon 936140734 , i am paying rent Rs 1100 with Rs 10 gb night plan . not let me show you how they con people they have con me also due to which my bill has come more then 4500.

when i purchase night pack i was told you can use it from 11pm to 7 am in morning with 10gm limit , thats all was told to me.

i start using photon in a month of september , suddenly on 29 sept when i was going to login i recieve message ,error 678 remote computer not responding , on enquiry i was told i had cross my credit limit of Rs 3000
the CCE further told me that i had use 15gb data but that was fine since my downloadind was in night only .

now CSE inform me that to use night pack you have to login after 11pm , means if you login at 10.58pm it is considered as day time only , now how can i know this thing before , on the other hand if you login at 6.50 am in morning and as soon as clock crosses 7 am it becomes day time .

clearly my bill is inflated and thats not my fault during 5 months of my usuage i have already paid more then 8000 as revenue to tata photon , and in return i am being cheated .

not only this their speed is also very slow sometime become less then 80 kbps ,

HI Friends,
Need some urgent very valuable suggestion.
I would like to purchase a Handycam in two three days.
Primary Objective: to record my beautiful moments for life long with my girlfriend –and also use for family events occasions recording
Requirements:
1. Hard disk based (I guess DVD is not cost effective and space constraint)
2. Remote control (so that I can record from distance)
3. Timer based adjustments
4. Good quality (as these videos would be lifelong)
5. Handy or small better (carrying is easier)
6. Available in Hyderabad (and which showroom to purchase exactly from)
7. Good Warranty or Service and reputed brand
Budget is flexible but obviously the cheaper the better.
PLS ADVISE Guys

DD HD channel in Tata Sky HD????

its true its on testing, and it has been for a little over 2 weeks now. also from the information i gathered from some one at cwg tatasky has signed up to telecast in HD. but other dth providers have already been showing this channel for so long that i too have doubts whether they shall telecast it or not. it would really suck if they dont.

As you are entering late in HD segment with proper R&D, so we will have better quality service than others. Being a STB/Hardware Manufacturer too, we expect you to come up with most advance and stable STB like the DirecTV one with 1080p features and many more.

BSNL Broadband Plan Change Problem

BSNL people have become smarter now. Any plan change request is processed immediately upon receipt, one does not have to wait till the first day of the next month. I applied for a plan change from UL HOME COMBO 1350 to UL HOME COMBO 1700 here at Bhubaneswar. The change was effected just next day in the middle of the month. I have been told that I will be getting two split bills for the two different plans. The differential security deposit will be added in the next bill. (I am yet to get the bill though.) Dont know the situation at Mysore, but here at Bhubaneswar, the BSNL people are very very prompt and responsive.

If Hindi is not national language , what is the use of learning hindi ? As per my knowledge 75% + Kannadigas doesn't know to speak in Hindi . But they can speak 1-2 other south Indian languages . People like me feel learning English is easier than learning hindi :D
