I too faced the problem of registration.
Just call to 1504 and ask ur customer ID. They will give you. Also they can assist you on Phone.
The same thing I did. Now I am able to monitor the usages.

Hi Guys,
Iam running on a MTNL 1Mbps Unlimited Plan and now since im planning to get a laptop i was also hoping to purchase a ADSL Modem + Wireless Router
Right now,Iam using a wired connection for my PC using the MTNL router

Now,there are routers available that can run a wired connection as well as when needed can be used as WiFi for the Lappy and Mobile,so i would require only 1 router instead of 2 and throw that crappy MTNL router tin away

Please Suggest some of them that work with MTNL
Im probably getting that modem/router from canada since im there right now...
So any suggestions ?

And Budget isn't a Problem but i think 3K is enough ?

Hi

I've been using Dish TV since 2007. After Feb 2010 I haven't used it or recharged. Can I start using it now by recharging? Or will I have to pay for the unused months?

Airtel sent me a email today thanking me for opting ebill. Last week I got a call from Airtel regarding something else and I made a complaint about them switching to ebill without my consent. They said they will rectify it and now they follow up with a thank you message. If you complain to TRAI or Consumer court they will say the customer opted for it. I think it is better to send them a registered letter with acknowledgement due so your request for paper bill cannot be ignored and they cannot say they did not receive the request.

Friends, no replies yet - is this an uncommon configuration?

Uploading a picture of the multiswitch connected to my STB.

As you would notice that there is a single input (coming from the dish), and two outputs (going to the Tata Sky Plus box inputs)
After I reconnected, I am unable to view a few channels. I also checked the signal strength for the two tuners - one of them is zero.
So I am left wondering whether its a problem with the
1. Multiswitch
2. Tata Sky Plus box
3. The Satellite dish
Note: All other "normal" Tata Sky connections in my home, connected to the same dish, are working properly and showing all the subscribed channels.

Gurus - some help please.

Broadband Usage Meter doesn't show records of other computer using my router so it is bit useless to me.

You can always choose Preferred DNS and Alternate DNS. Nothing illegal in changing to these values. Currently you may have " Obtain DNS automatically ". It is just like using IE 6 in Windows 7. Similar to Chrome and Mozilla, there are many third party DNS database. The one I mentioned is a mix of Open DNS and Google DNS. It is just like using Firefox in your PC. Hope this helped. I had more questions regarding changing the DNS server
1. Would Changing the DNS server compromise with my internet security
2. Would Changing it effect any other website
3. Would my office be able to check my DNS server settings. I hope it is not illegal

1. No. Need Norton's DNS ?

2. Page loading will be faster if you use a better DNS.

3. Nobody cares about the DNS value you are using. It is not illegal.

This is the last race of the season to be held in Europe. Its again a fast circuit.....2 years back it was sebastian vettel who claimed the pole for Toro Rosso and eventually won his first GP in Monza......last years it was Brawn GP 1 & 2 and this year i am predicting that McLaren will be the team to beat......My money is on with Lewis Hamilton.....but I am sure that RBR will challenge the McLarens........i have less expectations from Ferrari & its drivers......
