MTNL Broadband 2 MBPS Unlimited @ 599/month Posted: 24 Aug 2010 02:37 AM PDT Seriously i don't know what has gotten into your head... but i would like to clarify.. it was no just some people who reported speed increase... i checked on other forums as well and found many people reported speed increase... that was a major reason to believe that there was something going on... secondly the mtnl site was down.... another reason i can give you ample reason's because of which i believed that they could be upgrading the speed... what you guys don't want to believe is the reality.... who thought mtnl would give 1mbps for 999/month? it actually came as a shock to me rather than surprise... I am not being optimistic... okay i am just talking about the facts here... i noticed since last year mtnl was going around reducing prices for the same speed every 6 months or so .. i have mentioned this 2 times already As far as living in the reality is concerned... i can very well see by how you think you are living in reality.... don't give me bullshit reasons to tell me that i am living in fantasy also talking about dumb.. it was in the sense that the TRAI recommendation stated to redefine broadband as 2mbps and it was to be done in parts (steps) also i already knew it was 1 year old... basically what i am saying is that mtnl is moving towards that goal ... to make 2mbps the minimum speed on it's plans and to make the tariff affordable to increase broadband penetration in the country. I don't want a flame war... period. ---------- Post added at 03:07 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:06 PM ---------- @admin lock this thread until we get a official announcement from MTNL or some news source about the genuine speed upgrade |
Reliance WiMax - Two Thumbs Up. Posted: 24 Aug 2010 02:36 AM PDT That's very childish of you.You live in Delhi. So, you are bound to get nicest pings than me when you will ping the nearest server because the server is present in your city itself. I live in Kolkata & there is NO server present for my city on the Speedtest.net site. So, i have to use the Mumbai server which is exactly 1,035 miles away despite that speedtest site shows the wrong info as <50 mi , it is actually 1,035 miles. So, it is not possible for any ISP to provide you a 15 ms Ping to a server which is 1,035 miles away. Try pinging a server that much away from you & see how you can get 15 ms Pings. Here is the new & improved speedtest result. ![]() Now tell me which other ISP provides you this speed on a 1536 kbps line ? :) :) Give me a server in Kolkata & i will show you how much pings i can get for that. You can not compare your pings with mine because ther server you are pinging is local to you but i am getting 60+ pings because even the nearest speedtest server is 1,035 miles away from me. Got the idea ? :) :) |

Posted: 24 Aug 2010 01:44 AM PDT here is the port... i have no idea what it is! ![]() can i get some connector that can link this netbook to a LCD TV? ---------- Post added at 02:14 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:30 PM ---------- looks like i found the solution myself. it is some proprietary HP port. requires this adapter HP Mini VGA Cable | HP® Official Store suckers. |

Tata Teleservices selects Nokia Siemens Networks for 3G Posted: 24 Aug 2010 01:03 AM PDT i did not say they are a small player. i just said that they are not known to provide the best quality stuff when it comes to networking equipments. :) ---------- Post added at 01:33 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:33 PM ---------- and no matter what company you go for, the hardware would probably still be manufactured in china. |
