Anyone has any experience over virtual-cards?

Posted: 20 Aug 2010 02:49 AM PDT

if you have HDFC bank account you can create your own VCC (NET SAFE CARD) instantly. i used this while activating paypal account from my friend.
no extra charge. the card is generated from your bank balance. not credit.

Help with Beetal 220BXI Airtel Modem+Linksys BEFW11S4 router

Posted: 20 Aug 2010 12:44 AM PDT

Good to know that it is working now.

This method makes your router work like an "access point", simply put, it forwards all the data from the modem to the computers. It makes it invisible to the the PCs in the LAN.

The reason why you need to plug the modem in the LAN port is because the internet port is effectively disabled in this setup, hence, is of no use.

You will have to forward ports only on the modem for the connectability bit.

Any further devices that will be connected will also work fine.
