It does not works for me. I created a .bat file, and i run the file with double click on that file. Still the net is accessible for me.

It is for Homecast. If you are in India there is a chance to get Measat without realignment. If you are in Bharain realignment is a must. They are unlocking the Samusung stbs with OTA on 4B. Check whether you got that OTA.

Open DNS are much better than Google DNS. From my personal experience, Google DNS is a bit slower. You can use it as Preffered DNS as 208.67.222.222 and Alternate DNS as 8.8.8.8. It will make sure that you get the best out of it.

not sure if i understand. the scene is like this
1. there are 2 telephone sockets in the house
2. connecting just a telephone to either of the sockets - telephone works
3. connecting just the modem/router to either of the sockets - it works in the living room but does not work in the bedroom
4. Connecting both the modem and telephone using a splitter to either of the sockets - the arrangement works in the living room; have not tried in the bedroom.
I am looking at having the telephone in the living room and the modem (connected directly to the tel. line)in the bedroom so that i can hook up my PC using ethernet.

Am i missing something?

I called up TS CC and complained about the Chinese subtitles and they refused to entertain it as a complaint and refused to give me a ticket no. for it, as it is supposedly from NGC end as told to me, even after explaining that the same feed is coming from Airtel HD and Sun HD without the chinese subtitles, but no one ready to listen. I wrote amail after that to support team, explaining everything in detail, and how stb's itself come with the subtitle option so that customer can put it on or off in US and elsewhere, but again I got a call that they have understood the problem but can not do anything about it as they don't know how to fix it. They will talk to the tech guys but can't put a timeframe to it. So invariably they will never fix it as buying cheap equipment from chinese companies have put them into the position of giving chinese subtitles too:)....the best they could have done was paid airtel and sun to give the chinese subtitles too so that no one gets to know that its their fault :)
