It is ridiculous at the least. People like he judge who passed the outrageous decision in favour of Google are the ones who are killing innovation. Seriously, what is the motivation to invent something knowing fully well that it can be copied by anyone without your permission or compensation. One could rather just wait for someone to come up with something and then copy it. Far easier, not to say cheaper.

Well, how can u assume that the student had copied? Just because he managed to get the seat? Well, i would say the student who got the seat, would be much more knowledgeable that that other fellow. Without putting in much efforts, that student would have prepared & fared better than the "Hardworking creature", which is why he got the seat. Remember, hardwork doesnt always pay. Smartwork does. The one u r claiming to have copied, has actually done smartwork.

Not only did he get the seat, he is not a pain to the ones he is eventually giving his services.

Ecobhai Broadband?

Just a local ISP in my area. Anyone used them or heard of them? any review?
They are providing 1mbps(no fup) for 900rs. Highly interested.
Website seems to be pretty badly done:
Code:

http://ecobhaibroadband.com
Apparently, it's a part of Kamash Tech, who also run this project:
Code:

http://mailmaal.com
Which is obviously a SCAM website. So I wonder if their broadband services are a scam :S

Even though the ADSL2+ standard does allow up to 3.5mbit/s upstream, this is only with Annex M which most providers around the world aren't using, Airtel probably included. So 1mbit/s or thereabouts is about as good as it gets.

And honestly speaking, I have never found any phone (I must have changed a dozen or so in all these years) that has battery backup or durability of the 3310. President Pratibha Patil pardons murderers, rapists and pedophiles.

Posted: 29 Jun 2012 03:39 AM PDT

I dont know about law too much, but i do know about Medicine and i am positive that a pedophile, cannot be cured. He or she can be rehabilitated upto an extent. Let me explain a bit I am going to give an example of men, when a man sees a beautiful woman he is attracted to her, this initial attraction leads to a powerful wave of neurotransmitters realeased at the nerve endings. This essentially creates a flood in the brain of many chemicals including Epinephrine, Dopamine, and Endorphin etc, these chemicals stimulate our reward centres in the brain. Hence giving us a feeling of pleasure romance, lust etc etc... belive me it gets very complex at miocroscopic level.
Now let me apply this to a pedophile, when a pedophile sees a child there is similar chemical reactions taking place in his brain That is what i mean when i says they can never be cured, so we need a way to isolate them from the general population where there are no kids. And at this time in history i dont see anything else other than sending them to prison or i can put it mildly in "confinement"
The office of the President needs to know the science before they let people about on to the street.

Doubts about the authenticity of Hayai Broadband

Posted: 29 Jun 2012 03:36 AM PDT

MG likes the above post? I dont know whether to appreciate that he takes criticism sportingly or despair that he has still not chosen to respond to svagyan's queries for 9 weeks now.

Anyway, going on by the amount of interest (or should I say lack of) in the points 2 & 3 mentioned by MG below, he should just go ahead and plan a specific date & let people know the date, so that atleast that would be done & dusted.

3. This relates to #2. I've said publicly to people to contact me to organize a time, but you're one of maybe 2 or 3 people who have responded. I'd have imagined there would be more people than that wanting to see a connection delivering what we're promising.

Please, help me help you. Get in touch and help me organize something, even if it's only copper (it'll show what people can reasonably expect if they're like the majority who live in areas not yet covered by fiber). How much is GPRS usage charges in 98 Rs Data pack in unbilled usage

Posted: 29 Jun 2012 03:29 AM PDT

Actually i made a big blunder, i am admitting the same here for the benefit of others.
When i came to my neighbor's home, the network was IDEA only.
I assumed the unbilled usage is just increasing because i am using Internet in mobile.
I have been using Data and Voice in Aircel network without my knowledge till yesterday.
I am not sure how my mobile phone hopped in Aircel network as i didn't went out from neighbor's home for the last one week.
Anyway my unbilled usage has exceeded the credit limit already and i am still making and receiving calls up to now.

The Case of the Man who Died Laughing

Posted: 29 Jun 2012 03:27 AM PDT

Ok, read the book last week. Felt it was ok-ish. Felt it was a bit dragging as it wasted too much time describing the surroundings/people all the time. The side detective track of the mother also seemed a forced one. Another thing that looked forced was the attempt of the author to try and present an "Indian" perspective of looking at things all the time , for example, many a times I could feel a "XYZ does so, because in India its like this" kind of way of writing. I will give it a 2,at best 2.5 out of 5.

To add more to the Indian perspective thing - It was, as if, he was trying to tell the Non-Indian reader all the time - He does this, but hey, dont be offended/surprised, this is normal in India.

Btw, which one is better: GoogleDNS or OpenDNS?? It seems MTNL is better than OpenDNS, check out my test results, there's a fight between MTNL and GoogleDNS:

And now, MTNL wins the battle in another test:

I'm confused!!!

Wow, MTNL is working nicely right now, got an A:

Hey nevillek, these results doesn't give you actual overview; because you are using MTNL ISP and same DNS so its obvious that it would respond to your query in less time since hosted on same infra. But actual test should be done for websites that you frequently use using various DNS Combinations and then decide what to do.

Personally I would recommend this configuration (Keep the sequence same)
8.8.8.8
208.67.222.222
156.154.70.22
8.8.4.4
208.67.220.220
156.154.71.22

Never ever use MTNL DNS since its too laggy and sometime doesn't open sites like (TBP etc)

One unsuccessful challenge would be enough to remove the howler, the bad mistake, the error that every umpire makes now and then and especially under tired duress. When this happens the players simply step in and say 'We'd better check that please'. The decision gets reversed and the challenge system carries on.

Apart from buffalo, Asus equipment is nice. TP-Link is also good. The newer Cisco range at 2k is pretty much useless. Ditto for dlink. Never used netgear.

Also, the reason you won't find reviews for the wcr series is because it has been released recently bad that too only in south Asian markets.
